After qualifying in 2006, beauty therapist Louise Jones made the big leap and moved from the calm countryside of Devon to the vibrant city of London.

Louise began her career at Cucumba – The Urban Pit Stop, with the unique way of dividing beauty into portions of time and 'spreading the love' to the hard-hitting media types in Soho.

After two years Louise spread her wings further venturing to the luxury Soma Aveda salon in Chelsea, South West London. Here she became an Aveda beauty professional gaining vast knowledge in 'The Art and Science of Pure Flower and Plant Essences' and renewing clients well-being through nurturing high-touch treatments.

Passionate about the natural and holistic approach, Louise remained with the company for three years before stepping up her role as a therapist to Assistant Manager at Cowshed Carnaby, where clients indulged in a little 'sociable grooming'.

At the start of 2011, Louise made the decision to go freelance, serving a small client base in the luxury of their own home and simultaneously working at top salons and spas across London in particular Lulus Beauty Boutique, Toni & Guy, Marylebone High Street.

In 2012 Louise turned her dream of running her own salon into a reality opening L Beauty Therapy at Essensuals Hairdressing in Covent Garden.

A year later Louise is delighted to be joining Toni&Guy in their 50th year, in their latest Central London salon in Wigmore Street.

From Cucumba – The Urban Pit Stop, Soma Aveda, Cowshed Carnaby and Lulus Beauty Boutique, Louise Jones has now walked off on her own and opened up at Essensuals Hairdressing stop in Covent Garden. L Beauty Therapy is utterly heavenly. Louise Jones is utterly therapeutic.
I have no words to explain my experience there. Well I have a few words. I'm rarely lost for those. I tootled down there last night. Welcomed by Louise herself, I was escorted downstairs, below the cuts and snips. Here Jones has set up a little room filled with white, candles, relaxing music and sweet sweet smells.
With a cup of tea and plenty of time to de-robe, I stripped off and snuggled under the beautiful white towels. I was having a full body massage and using Organic Neal's Yard products, boy did I get one. I felt like I had done an intense yoga class, where I was taken into the deep depths of another world. I fell asleep for a bit. She worked every knot. She twisted by arms in the most satisfying ways. She laid a hot towel on my back which felt like she was pouring melted gold me or something. Ok I know I am getting poetic. But it was incredible. Absolutely incredible. I cannot fault the experience. I was distraught when it was over and I felt so refreshed afterwards. There she gave me a glass of water.
I hugged her goodbye and off I went. She is worth every penny. And she does manicures, pedicures, waxing, facials and all. She's going to have a queue going down the stree​t.
